Description

Focus your mind, open your ears and relax your body – a non-stop rhythmic ride is about to begin!

Enduro Djembe is an uninterrupted journey designed to improve your listening skills and strengthen your sounds, stamina and solo repertoire. We begin with technique and build into a steady groove, layering solo phrases until the final crescendo one hour later.Enduro djembe was developed by Simon Fraser, who will be leading this class. The classes are designed & based on experience levels.There will be 6 levels being covered throughout the series.

Level Guide

1 - Beginner ( limited or little experience) 

2 - Beginner/ intermediate ( had formal training and min 40hrs drum time) 

3 - Intermediate (completed several courses, over 1 years experience)

4 - Intermediate/ advanced (Can Solo and play 12/8 time)

 5 - Advanced ( Can lead the music)

 6 - Pro ( Professional musician, Performance history)

What to bring
  • We will have a drum ready for you at class – you don’t need to have your own. Ask your teacher about renting a drum so you can practice between classes

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at African Drumming or organised by African Drumming must agree to these terms and conditions.

1.) LIABILITY WAIVER

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by African Drumming.

2.) PHOTO & VIDEO

I agree to give African Drumming unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at African Drumming classes and events or on African Drumming's premises. (For use of African Drumming marketing materials).

3.) REFUNDS

African Drumming requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund or transfer. 

4.) CANCELLATIONS

In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund or credit.

African Drumming requires 48 hours notice via email prior to the start of a class or event for a full refund or transfer.  Refunds and transfers will not be processed if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the event commencing. We do not offer refunds for missed classes. There are no fees for refunds or transfers. For cancellations prior to the 48 hour cut off, email African Drumming to organise a refund or transfer
